Normally when I break out the watercolors it ends in disaster and occasionally tears (both mine and the children's).
I used all lessons learned in the past and helped focus my oldest on her Van Gogh reproduction, while simultaneously starting the boys on their Jackson Pollack reproductions (not really, but I did refer to it as the "drippy paint" method).
I found the results of this project not only shockingly complete, but jaw droppingly awesome.
