Look! Here We are Engaging In Many Hilarious Activities Abroad.

Oh, remember back in the day? Well, I sure do. Gone are the days where I can jump on a plane and go somewhere without making long detailed plans five months in advance regarding the care of kids, dogs and rodents (the pet kind, not the unwelcomed common alley rat).

Spain was so much fun that it actually makes me a little teary eyed to go through these pics again. Barcelona was something completely new and exciting to me. I had traveled to Italy two years prior and I think they are neck and neck in the race to be my favorite travel destination.

Why?

Oh Buddy, I pity you. Among the indignities you've had to suffer are driving the Fisher Price school bus, relay races with the dogs, road trips and now swimming. The kids saw a video of Guinea pigs swimming on You Tube and here you are suffering through that experiment.
I'm glad you don't keep a little rodent list of wrongdoings waiting patiently to exact your revenge. Please forgive us.

Beautiful Things (that we had nothing to do with)

It's great to have neighbors with a green thumb. Everything we plant up and dies within one week, so it was a lovely surprise when our friends next door planted roses and vegetables that grew over our fence to enjoy our plentiful sunlight. Wishing I could take credit for how well these turned out.

On the Farm

Clinging to What's Left of Summer

Yes, I know I need to remove my cold steely talons from what remains of my endless summer. Yes I see the Halloween decorations and candy out on display at the local store. Can't a girl cling to memories of great times, mouth watering food and warm breezes?

Fantastic Blog

My friends have been RAVING about a particular blog for ages so I popped over to see what all the fuss is about and boy was I not disappointed. It's written my this mom of six who blogs about her daily life but what really struck me about it was how visually powerful it is. Sister knows how to take a stunning picture. It doesn't matter if it's an adorable candid of one of her cherubic kids or a landscape portrait, girl has got a knack for subject matter, lighting and making readers want to keep looking (and reading). I know I'm hooked!
