This is the Episode Where the Captain Let's Small Children Drive the Boat

I kid you not. All three of my kids drove the Harbor Queen, with at least 50 passengers on board, unassisted (verbal instructions were plentiful , don't worry). They learned quite a bit and I feel that if we should ever be stuck out at sea perhaps they can step up to the plate and bring their "A" game.

Lazy Saturday Strikes Again

I am ashamed to admit that summer has gotten the best of me, and I arose from my bed at 10:30 am this morning. My kids had wandered downstairs and occupied themselves already so I didn't feel as terrible as I probably should have. Even though it is sub Saharan hot in DC during August, I have to admit I will miss summertime........
