Yes, I know I need to remove my cold steely talons from what remains of my endless summer. Yes I see the Halloween decorations and candy out on display at the local store. Can't a girl cling to memories of great times, mouth watering food and warm breezes?

Lazy Saturday Strikes Again

I am ashamed to admit that summer has gotten the best of me, and I arose from my bed at 10:30 am this morning. My kids had wandered downstairs and occupied themselves already so I didn't feel as terrible as I probably should have. Even though it is sub Saharan hot in DC during August, I have to admit I will miss summertime........
